we did what the cadets (both Sec 2 and 3) will do at the camp. things like treasure hunt, field cooking, tent pitching, kayaking, rafting, gadgets building, low ropes, jetty jump, land expedition, campfire etc etc. but everything at a slower pace, and minus all the scoldings. we are, afterall, adults.

we only slept in tents for one night, bcos the storm on day 2 swept most of our tents away. BUT BUT BUT.. i'm proud to say that my group's tent was one of the few tents that remained standing after the storm. woo hoo! then we slept in the canteen and foyer for the next 2 nights.

mosquitoes are powerful at Camp Resilience. they bite through my socks at night! it's important to arm urself with a good repellent. i have repellent on almost 24/7 for the 4 days there. (that's why, how to feel clean??)

i have enough of instant noodles, canned satay chicken, curry chicken, baked beans, sardines, pineapples and combat rations. imagine cooking and eating that for 3 consecutive days! no wonder we all chionged for our carrot cake, bak chor mee, nasi bryani, chicken rice, sugar cane, and prata etc at Changi Village after that.

my OC Unit was one of the instructors at the camp, and i got to see the fun-loving side of him. a side i prolly seldom see in school.

all in all, the camp was ok. i haven't been this garang (and dirty) for a long long long long time. but it's good when everyone gets garang together.
pssst. pearlyn, we got to bathe EVERYDAY. hohoho.
I Wonder Wht Will Happen To Us If There was A Storm and we were sleeping In Our Tent.I Think i'll Cry.
